The wire — 5 October 2026
The structural irony of Monday is that it is both the busiest day for European funding announcements and the edition most likely to come up empty. European startup communications teams and VC press offices hold announcements for Monday morning — but "morning" in Paris is 08:00 to 10:00, and this routine publishes at 07:00. A full sweep of both beats — France and rest-of-Europe — at this hour returned nothing announced on 5 October.
Last week ran to seven rounds disclosed on a single Thursday: Restate (Berlin, €18.5M Series A), Blue Health Intelligence (Amsterdam, €3.4M), Blackswan Space (Vilnius, €2.5M Seed), Ahron (Munich, €2.2M), KHOY (Helsinki, €2M), Tryp.com (Copenhagen, €1.9M), and C-Clerc (Paris, €1.2M). Monday morning rounds will appear in Tuesday's edition.
Next edition: Tuesday 6 October 2026.
