Zeliq raises €7M seed extension to launch AI sales agents across Europe
AI-native B2B revenue workspace that centralises prospect data and orchestrates outbound sales workflows through AI agents, replacing the stack of disconnected point tools most sales teams currently run.
“The best salespeople won't be replaced by AI, but they will work alongside it.”
Zeliq (Paris) has raised €7 million in a seed extension led by The Moon Venture, with returning backers Ora Global (the New York fund formerly known as Exor Ventures) and Cleo Ventures, and angels Julien Jean (JJCapinvest) and Sylvestre Blavet (Freelance.com). Founded in 2023 by Dorian Ciavarella (CEO, previously co-founder of influencer platform Hivency), Victor Lennel (previously co-founder of fintech Pumpkin), and Guillaume Cruz, the company has grown from 2,000 to 20,000 users across 147 countries in eighteen months. This round extends the €9M seed raised in June 2024, bringing Zeliq's total seed capital to €16 million.
The platform centralises more than 450 million enriched prospect data sources in real time and orchestrates outbound interactions — email and phone — through AI workflows. Zeliq describes its positioning as an "Agentic Revenue Workspace": a unified environment where sales and marketing teams set commercial strategy, and AI agents execute the repetitive operational tasks underneath it.
The Zelia bet
The concrete product expression of that positioning is Zelia, Zeliq's outbound AI agent, which moves into official beta with this round after more than a year in development. Zelia scans the web continuously for intent signals — new hires, funding announcements, product launches — and contacts prospects at the identified moment of readiness, without a salesperson initiating each outreach. The agent decides when to send, what to say, and adapts based on response signals.
Ciavarella is measured about what that means in practice: "For ten years, sales teams have stacked SaaS tools. The result is more complexity, more time switching between tools, and less time actually selling." The argument is not that Zelia replaces judgment — "The best salespeople won't be replaced by AI, but they will work alongside it" — but that it absorbs the preparation, sequencing, and follow-up that currently occupies most of a rep's calendar.
The 20,000 users are split across a majority of small and mid-sized sales teams, with 62% of revenue from France and 18% from the US at the time of announcement. The product runs in 25 employees across offices in Paris, Barcelona, and Milan.
What this round is buying
Beyond Zelia, the capital is directed at two structural bets: product depth (doubling the product and tech team) and European distribution (expanding into new European markets and tightening integrations with the leading CRM platforms — Salesforce, HubSpot, and others).
The European push is the harder call to evaluate. Outbound sales tooling tends to be culturally specific: what works in France may not translate cleanly into German, Dutch, or Scandinavian markets where cold outreach norms, data regulations, and decision-making structures differ. Zeliq's claim is that the agent layer, because it learns from local data signals rather than generic templates, adapts by market. That will need 2027 revenue mix to verify.
The broader sector context is real: Reecall (covered by ProYarn on 24 September) is also rebuilding the commercial workflow layer, from the opposite direction — voice AI sold white-label to SaaS publishers rather than direct to sales teams. Both are betting that the next generation of revenue tooling is built around AI agents that operate below the human layer, not alongside it.
