AlloBrain raises $7M to put AI in the ear of every contact centre agent
A Paris-based AI platform that provides real-time guidance, quality monitoring, and compliance support to human contact-centre agents during live calls — serving regulated-sector enterprises in insurance, banking, transport, and public services.
“AI must assist the advisor, not replace them.”
AlloBrain (Paris) has raised a $7 million (approx. €6.3M) seed round led by Varsity. Groupama, the French mutual insurer, co-invests alongside sector-focused business angels. The company was founded in late 2020 by Zied Haj-Yahia (CEO), Yves-Marie Bouedo, and Adrien Sasportes, all former Capgemini.
What the product does
AlloBrain builds a real-time AI layer that sits alongside human contact-centre agents during live calls. As a call unfolds, the system listens, surfaces relevant information and scripts, flags compliance-sensitive moments, and monitors interaction quality — all in the few seconds the agent has between a customer's words and their response.
The positioning is deliberate. Rather than replacing the agent, AlloBrain gives every agent the knowledge and compliance guardrails of the best-performing one. The CEO's stated view — "AI must assist the advisor, not replace them" — is also a commercial positioning: it makes AlloBrain deployable in regulated environments where fully automated voice agents face procurement and legal scrutiny.
Current clients are drawn from insurance, banking, transport, and public services — roughly 30 large enterprise accounts. These are sectors with both the scale to justify investment in per-agent tooling and the regulatory environment that creates demand for AI-assisted compliance support rather than autonomous AI decision-making.
The round and the investors
Varsity leads. Groupama's co-investment is notable: the mutual insurer is also an AlloBrain client, which means the investment reflects production use rather than speculative interest. Business angels with sector expertise complete the round.
The $7 million (approximately €6.3M at current rates) will fund commercial expansion across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and continued R&D. AlloBrain was previously known as AlloReview before a product pivot; the current commercial traction reflects the post-pivot positioning.
