Vessla raises €2.94M pre-seed to automate property management with AI agents
A Stockholm-based PropTech company building an agentic operating system that automates maintenance, invoicing, supplier communications, and leasing workflows across existing property management software for residential and commercial owners.
“We believe AI will fundamentally change how property companies operate, from maintenance and costs to leasing and rental income. The hard part is making it work at scale across the systems and processes those companies already rely on.”
Vessla (Stockholm) has raised a €2.94M ($3.3M) pre-seed led by Seedcamp. The round also includes Inception Fund, Tiny VC, operators from Lovable and OpenAI, Fredrik Hjelm (co-founder of Voi and Pit), and Lukas Saari (founder of Tandem Health). Founded in 2026 by Orman Gazvini (CEO) and Kasper Janehag (CTO), the company exits stealth with this close. The round was more than twice oversubscribed, per the company.
What Vessla builds
Vessla describes its product as an agentic operating system for property companies — a layer that connects to the management software a portfolio already uses and automates the workflows that currently require manual coordination: maintenance requests, invoicing, supplier communications, leasing paperwork, and tenant correspondence. The company is already working with some of the Nordics' largest property owners; no named customers were disclosed at launch.
The architecture is deliberately non-disruptive. Vessla does not replace existing property management systems (Yardi, Vitec, MRI); it sits above them, connecting through existing APIs and interfaces. Routine tasks run automatically; decisions requiring judgment — a disputed maintenance claim, a lease exception, a supplier dispute — are routed to the responsible human. That positions the product as a productivity layer rather than a platform migration, which matters when the buyer is a portfolio manager who has spent years configuring tools they are not prepared to replace.
Seedcamp's built-environment month
Seedcamp has now made two pre-seed investments in the built environment in October. The fund led Solvera (Oslo, €5.62M pre-seed, ConTech/AI) — an AI-native engineering firm that delivers MEP design as a service, not AI tools for engineers to use. Vessla is the adjacent bet: Solvera automates what happens before a building opens; Vessla automates what happens once it is running.
Both bets share the same structural premise: the professional is not replaced but redeployed. Solvera's engineers handle complex coordination; Vessla's property managers handle edge cases. AI handles the volume. That the same fund has made two adjacent bets on this premise in a single month suggests a thesis, not pattern-matching.
Fredrik Hjelm's involvement adds a further layer of credibility. Hjelm built Voi into the leading European e-scooter operator — a business whose core operational challenge was coordinating maintenance, rebalancing, supplier management, and local compliance across dozens of cities, simultaneously, on thin margins. The problem Vessla is solving is structurally similar at the portfolio level. His presence as an angel is the kind of domain-adjacent signal that is harder to fabricate than a brand-name VC.
