Humanos raises $3.2M Seed to build risk infrastructure for AI agents
AI agent risk infrastructure platform providing continuous monitoring and live risk scores for autonomous AI agents, enabling insurance underwriting and enterprise governance of AI agent behaviour.
Humanos (Lisbon) has raised $3.2 million in a Seed round (approximately €2.9 million). The company builds risk infrastructure for autonomous AI agents — a continuous monitoring layer that generates live risk scores for AI agents operating in enterprise environments, creating the data foundation needed for insurance underwriting and enterprise AI governance.
The AI agent risk problem
As enterprises deploy autonomous AI agents — systems that can browse the web, write and execute code, send emails, interact with APIs, and take multi-step actions without human approval at each step — the liability question becomes structural. Who is responsible when an AI agent makes a damaging decision? How does an insurer price a policy covering AI agent behaviour? How does a board satisfy itself that the AI agents running across its operations are behaving within defined parameters?
Humanos's answer is runtime monitoring with live risk scoring. Rather than evaluating agents through pre-deployment benchmarks or static policy rules, the platform observes actual agent behaviour in production, assigns continuous risk scores based on observed actions, and surfaces anomalies or policy violations as they occur. The system is designed to give both enterprise risk teams and insurers a live view of what AI agents are doing, expressed as a risk metric rather than a raw log.
The insurance angle
The strategic bet is that insurers writing AI liability policies need exactly this kind of data product. Without continuous behaviour monitoring, underwriting an AI agent deployment is an exercise in guesswork — the underwriter knows what the agent is designed to do, but has no visibility into what it actually does at scale. Humanos positions its platform as the data layer that makes AI agent insurance actuarially tractable.
CEO Pedro Andrade is leading the company. The investor syndicate was not disclosed. Capital from the round will fund platform development and team growth targeting insurance and enterprise governance buyers.
