A quiet Wednesday on the European deal flow. One round to carry forward from Tuesday's announcements — missed in yesterday's edition.

YGO (Berlin, €8M Series A, Ventech lead) builds the AI infrastructure layer for travel distribution: the middle tier that makes hotel, flight and tour-operator inventory queryable and bookable through AI agents like ChatGPT and Claude, without a human handoff. Founded in 2023, the company crossed seven-figure ARR within six months and has processed over €15M in bookings. Clients include Condor, Bentour and GetAway Group; business angels include founders of FlixBus and HomeToGo.

This is Ventech's third European infrastructure bet tracked by ProYarn in twelve months, after Naaia (Paris, AI governance, July) and amber (Aachen, AI knowledge for SMEs, August). The travel distribution bet completes a pattern: compliance, knowledge, distribution — each at the friction point where a legacy sector process meets the AI layer. The company is already MCP-integrated, which means its inventory is readable by the major AI assistants without bespoke plumbing.

No French-headquartered qualifying rounds appeared in Tuesday or Wednesday's announcements. The desk remains open.

Next edition: Thursday 23 October 2026.
