Elevatry raises €3M pre-seed for AI-powered strategic procurement in the enterprise
A Munich-based AI platform for strategic procurement that automates supplier analysis, RFP management, and category strategy for large enterprises — enabling procurement teams to redirect time from administrative tasks toward strategic decisions.
Elevatry (Munich) has raised €3M in a pre-seed round. Bayern Kapital and H&Z — a management consultancy — are the named investors. The company was founded by Heiko Schwarz, previously co-founder of riskmethods, a supply chain risk management company acquired by Sphera. No single lead investor was identified.
Elevatry's platform launched on 28 September 2026. The funding announcement followed seventeen days later.
What the product addresses
Elevatry operates in strategic procurement: the work that large enterprise procurement teams do beyond routine purchasing — supplier analysis, RFP management, and category strategy. These are analytically intensive processes that have historically been handled through a combination of ERP systems (which manage the transactional layer) and management consulting engagements (which handle the strategic layer).
The product automates the analytical and documentation work that sits between the two: mapping the supplier landscape, structuring RFPs, and synthesising category intelligence. The pitch to procurement teams is time savings on tasks that require expertise but not necessarily human judgment on each instance — freeing senior procurement staff for supplier relationships and negotiation rather than research and documentation.
The investor configuration and what it signals
Bayern Kapital is the Bavarian public venture arm, a standard institutional anchor for Munich-based deep tech and enterprise software companies. The H&Z investment is more unusual: a management consultancy investing in a company that automates portions of what consultancies deliver signals either a distribution partnership or an acknowledgement that the category will be disrupted from below.
Schwarz's riskmethods background is the most specific signal. riskmethods was built in the supply chain risk management space and acquired by Sphera — a HSEQ and ESG software platform backed by private equity. The buyer persona for supply chain risk management and for strategic procurement AI overlaps significantly at large enterprises.
The €3M round will fund team growth across engineering, AI, marketing, and customer support, along with go-to-market build-out in DACH markets and, eventually, the US. At this stage, the realistic product scope is a focused point solution for one or two procurement workflows rather than a comprehensive platform; the company will need to win reference customers in German-speaking markets before expanding the surface area.
