The wire — 26 September 2026
Saturday's brief catches up with three rounds announced mid-week and not covered in the two earlier catch-up editions — a familiar rhythm when a week runs deep. No new rounds were announced on 26 September. What the three rounds share is less a sector than a structural position: each company is betting on a different slice of the enterprise agent stack as it professionalises.
The theme is not "AI agents" in the broad sense; it is the question of what happens after the deployment decision has been made and the agents are running. Zeliq (Paris) extends its seed to launch an outbound sales agent — it is a deployment company, putting agents to work on the tasks sales teams find most tedious. Benford (Oslo) raised a pre-seed to operate a full-stack licensed audit firm — it uses agents to make the unit economics of statutory audit work at mid-market prices. Kontext (Munich) raised a seed to enforce what those deployed agents are allowed to do — checking every tool call against policy before execution. One deploys, one delivers services with, one polices. The week's cluster of agent-related rounds — Primo, 50skills, Spiich, Palma.ai, and now these three — is not a coincidence; it is a stack forming in public.
Zeliq — Paris, €7M seed extension
Zeliq raised €7 million in a seed extension led by The Moon Venture, with returning backers Ora Global and Cleo Ventures, and angels Julien Jean and Sylvestre Blavet. Founded in 2023 by Dorian Ciavarella, Victor Lennel, and Guillaume Cruz, the platform combines a 450M-source enriched data layer with AI agents that execute outbound sales tasks end-to-end. The extension brings total seed capital to €16 million (the original €9M closed in June 2024). 20,000 users across 147 countries, 62% French revenue. New capital funds a doubling of the product and tech team and the commercial launch of Zelia, an AI agent that continuously scans for prospect intent signals and initiates contact autonomously.
Benford — Oslo, €5M Pre-Seed
Benford raised €5 million in a Pre-Seed co-led by firstminute capital (which also backed StandardX this week) and Global Founders Capital (which backed Primo in the same week, and Opio earlier this year — a Paris-based audit AI platform). Angels include Arthur Waller and Quentin de Metz (Pennylane co-founders), Alexandre Prot (Qonto CEO), Peter ter Maaten (HSO founder), and the Spandow family (Amesto). Founded in 2026 by Mads Bogen Øye, Thibault Mallion, and Andreas Rystad — Palantir, Goldman Sachs, and One Peak alumni respectively — the company is a licensed Norwegian audit firm, employing its own qualified auditors. It does not sell software to auditors; it runs audits. Its AuditOS platform connects to client ERP, subledgers, and bank accounts and builds each audit on live data. ~20 people, already delivering client audits. Norway first; Sweden next.
Kontext — Munich, €3.5M Seed
Kontext raised $4 million (€3.5M) in a Seed led by 42CAP, with a16z CSX and High-Tech Gründerfonds participating. Founded in 2025 by Jens Ernstberger and Michel Osswald — both from TU Munich's system security lab — the platform sits between an AI agent and every system it touches. Each tool call is checked against policy (which agent, on which task, against which resource) before execution. Deployed under Anthropic Claude Code and OpenAI Codex; design partners in mid-to-large financial services. Revenue at zero; team of four. The round positions Kontext as the European enforcement layer in a category — agentic AI security — that has no incumbent. Palma.ai (covered this week) audits what agents did; Kontext decides what they are allowed to do before they do it.
