One pickup clears an archive gap: Metal Morph, a London cleantech company that filed its pre-seed on Thursday and was not captured in Friday's sweep.

Metal Morph (London) raised £700,000 / approximately €820,000 in pre-seed funding co-led by Sustainable Ventures and Green Angel Ventures, with Aqcelerator and Found Capital participating. Founded in 2025 by Moletsane Mophethe, the company recovers aluminium and iron-based coagulant chemicals from water and wastewater treatment plants and returns them to the same treatment process — eliminating the landfill or sewer disposal step that currently makes an already expensive supply chain doubly wasteful. More than 50 live tests across three drinking water treatment plants have produced 90% recovery of spent treatment chemicals at 95% purity, a 26% reduction in coagulation-related operational costs, and an 89% reduction in procurement emissions. Six UK water utilities — covering 56% of the UK water market, including Thames Water and Anglian Water — are signed as partners. Ofwat's Water Discovery Challenge has committed a £100K grant with a further £450K available against milestones. The pre-seed finances commercial pilots and a first European push: advanced discussions are under way with Aquafin (Belgium, 60% of household wastewater treatment) and Accelerate Estonia. The supply-chain timing is not incidental — documented disruptions to aluminium and iron chemical imports in 2026 have put every public water utility on notice about procurement risk.
