This investment is an important validation of the technology, customer trust and international business our team has built. It gives us the resources to accelerate our global expansion, amplify our partnerships with leading cloud and technology platforms, and bring Tiger Technology's always-on, AI-ready data infrastructure to many more companies operating in mission-critical environments.
Iravan HiraCEO, Tiger Technology

Tiger Technology (Sofia) has raised €8.7 million / $10 million in a Series A round, described as an initial closing, led by TCEE Fund IV, advised by 3TS Capital Partners, with participation from TDJ, Endeavor Catalyst, Impetus, and existing investors MFG Invest and Dimitar Ratchev. The company was founded in 2004 by Alexander Lefterov (CTO) and is led today by Iravan Hira (CEO). This is Tiger Technology's first institutional funding round.

Twenty-two years without institutional capital

Tiger Technology has been building enterprise file data infrastructure since 2004 — before the term "hybrid cloud" existed, before AWS S3 launched (2006), before most of the cloud ecosystem its product now integrates with was invented. The company's core product, Tiger Bridge, installs as a transparent control layer over customers' existing on-premises storage and cloud accounts, continuously managing the placement, protection, and activation of unstructured data across both environments without requiring data migration or operational disruption.

By the time of this round, Tiger Technology manages over 100 petabytes of data for clients across transportation, media, construction, and government sectors. It has been named AWS Rising Star Partner of 2025. Recent client results include a 10× file-restore speed improvement during a multi-petabyte cloud migration and up to 90% reduction in on-premises storage footprint.

Lefterov's founding premise — which felt contrarian in an industry drawing a hard line between cloud and on-premises — has held over two decades. "Many years ago, we made a bet that felt contrarian at the time," he said. "The industry was drawing a hard line between 'cloud' and 'on-premises' — as if enterprises would eventually have to pick one and abandon the other. We didn't believe that. We believed the real need was a transparent bridge between the two: seamless, efficient, and invisible to the workflows that depend on it."

The AI data readiness catalyst

The immediate commercial tailwind is AI infrastructure. Enterprises that accumulated years of unstructured data — engineering drawings, media assets, operational records, legal documents — are now under urgent pressure to make that data accessible for AI systems: LLM training, retrieval-augmented generation, inference pipelines. Moving petabyte-scale on-premises data to the cloud is exactly the migration problem Tiger Bridge addresses. "Adoption of AI, always-on data access and an increasing threat landscape are significant drivers for our solutions and our growth," said Lefterov.

3TS Capital Partners leads this round through TCEE Fund IV, a vehicle focused on Central and Eastern European technology companies. Endeavor Catalyst — the co-investment fund affiliated with Endeavor, the global entrepreneur support network — adds an international commercial network access that complements the regional capital.

"This investment is an important validation of the technology, customer trust and international business our team has built," said Iravan Hira. The round funds three simultaneous tracks: deepening US, European, and Middle Eastern enterprise sales; accelerating product development; and expanding the partner ecosystem around cloud platforms.

The "initial closing" language in the announcement is notable: it suggests additional investors may join before the round is formally closed, and that the final amount could exceed €8.7M. Tiger Technology is not disclosing a target size.
