Shiplog raises €808K Pre-Seed for Ada, an AI agent that treats every customer as a segment of one
A Paris startup building Ada, an AI agent that evaluates every customer individually, decides the next best action across their full lifecycle, and acts in real time — collapsing CRM, personalisation, and customer success into a single reasoning layer.
“Engineering industrialised and pricing individualised, but marketing got left in the middle. Every customer now behaves differently, yet most are still treated as part of a segment. The data to personalise every customer already exists. Ada is the infrastructure that acts on it.”
Shiplog (Paris) has raised €807,600 ($930,000) in a Pre-Seed round backed by Kima Ventures and Project Europe as co-leads, with Purple, No Label Ventures, 100IN, and the Station F Fund also participating, alongside angels. The company was founded in 2026 by Khushi Mehta (CEO) and Mehdi Gribaa (CTO) and is based at Station F in Paris.
The thesis: the segment is dead
The operating model that commercial teams have run for a decade — build a customer data platform, draw segments, fire campaigns at cohorts, hand a health score to a human — was designed for a world in which customers behaved predictably. Shiplog's argument is that world is over. AI has compressed software development timelines; pricing is collapsing from per-seat subscriptions into usage-based models; customers have stopped behaving like predictable cohorts and started behaving like individuals. The existing stack of CDPs, customer success platforms, personalisation engines, and marketing automation tools was built to answer different questions. None of them makes the decision; they surface it for a human.
Shiplog's product, Ada, is an AI agent that evaluates every customer individually, decides the next best action across the full lifecycle, and acts in real time. It plugs into Salesforce, HubSpot, Snowflake, Shopify, and Stripe — sitting above the existing stack rather than replacing it — builds a live customer profile from the connected data, and decides what happens next. The company calls the result a "segment of one": every marketing campaign, product interface, onboarding flow, support interaction, and customer success judgement adapts to the person, not the average.
The market and the starting vertical
Shiplog is targeting FinTech, cybersecurity, software, and consumer verticals first — sectors where behaviour changes quickly, customer volume is too high to manage manually, churn is costly, and personalised engagement drives measurable retention.
"We believe every piece of software that interacts with customers will eventually become adaptive, reasoning about each person in real time instead of relying on static rules," said Mehdi Gribaa. "Every customer should experience a different version of the same product, marketing campaign and customer journey. That is the future we are building towards."
A thread from the archive: Kima Ventures also co-invested in Rivage — a Paris-based startup — in the recent window, making this its second ProYarn-covered early-stage French commitment in quick succession. The fund's continued activity through the August lull is a signal of its own.
The Pre-Seed funds partner pilots, integration expansion, and engineering hiring in Paris. The critical next milestone is a named production deployment where Ada's decisions can be compared against a prior human baseline.
