Monday opens quietly. A full sweep of both beats — France and the rest of Europe — found no Seed or Series A rounds announced today with two-source corroboration.

Two items surfaced, neither inside ProYarn's scope. Wiremind (Paris), which builds AI revenue-management and inventory software for transport operators, events organisers, and air cargo teams, announced a €35 million round — its first external financing after twelve years of bootstrapping. The investors are IronWave (formerly Wendel Growth), Bpifrance Investissement (Large Venture fund), and Seaya Andromeda: all growth-stage vehicles. The company is profitable, twelve years old, has grown revenue 67% year on year, and operates across four product lines with more than 80 clients. Neither the company nor its investors attach a round label; the capital profile sits squarely in scale-up territory, well past Series A. Separately, from Berlin: Gaius Capital, a private equity firm targeting DACH Mittelstand succession, closed its debut fund at €56 million — a fund close, not a startup deal.

Monday is structurally the quietest day in European venture PR. VC press offices reactivate after the weekend and announcements tend to build through Tuesday and Wednesday. The prior week was not quiet: 18 rounds across six countries in the 6–10 October window, approximately €245 million.

Next edition: Tuesday 13 October 2026.
