Sunday holds to the same structural silence as Saturday: press offices are closed, the specialist publications — EU-Startups, Tech.eu, Maddyness, Sifted — do not publish over the weekend, and startups do not issue funding announcements on days when no one is watching the wires. A full sweep across both the France and rest-of-Europe beats this morning returned no Seed or Series A rounds announced on 20 September.
The weekly thread for 13–19 September runs alongside this brief. Twenty-one rounds, roughly €384 million raised across twelve countries — distorted by EUCLYD's €200 million-plus AI chip infrastructure raise from Eindhoven, but with approximately €184 million across the other twenty rounds giving the truer early-stage picture. The dominant theme of the week was autonomous delegation: AI agents claiming ownership of professional workflows, not merely assistance with them.
