Saturday is structurally quiet for European startup funding. Startups do not issue press releases on weekends; the tech media cycle runs Monday to Friday; and the trackers — EU-Startups, Tech.eu, Maddyness, Sifted — publish nothing on Saturday. A full sweep this morning across both the France and rest-of-Europe beats returned no Seed or Series A rounds announced on 19 September.
The week that closed yesterday was dense: eight rounds published in Friday's wire alone, led by Magentic's $18M Series A from London and Treble's $18M acoustic-simulation round from Reykjavík. The pipeline resets on Monday.
