Sunday. The morning sweep turned up no equity rounds announced on 9 August that clear ProYarn's two-source verification bar — for France or the rest of Europe. EU-Startups, Tech.eu, and Sifted last filed on Thursday or Friday; Maddyness's weekly round-up for the August 3–9 window won't publish before Tuesday at the earliest. PR wires are similarly quiet. This is the weekend schedule in August, not missing data.
One candidate came through the queue. SAPIOM, a company in the supply-chain AI space, surfaced with a $35 million Series A reported on 6 August — outside the window and above ProYarn's early-stage scope regardless of date.
The week overall was not quiet: nine rounds, approximately €315 million across eight countries, with a real mid-week burst from Tuesday through Thursday. The weekly thread runs separately.
