The wire — 12 July 2026
No new qualifying rounds on Sunday 12 July — the standard weekend blackout. Startups do not issue press releases on Sundays; investor communications are quiet; the research cycle ran clean and returned nothing inside the editorial window.
The week ending today was anything but quiet. Between Tuesday and Saturday, ProYarn tracked 33 rounds totalling €379 million across France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, and Spain. Munich's QuantumDiamonds anchored Thursday's edition with a €91 million package — €15 million of equity led by World Fund alongside €76 million tied to the EU Chips Act. Paris's Gradium extended its seed to above $100 million the same day, with Nvidia joining the cap table. The full week is pulled together in today's Sunday thread, published alongside this note.
